Khao Rang Viewpoint is a hill located on the north- western side of Phuket City. The pavilion atop the hill was built to commemorate Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi (Korsimbi Na Ranong), the former Commissioner of Monthon Phuket, in honor of his great contributions to the region. The structure is an elegant octagonal pavilion with a surrounding terrace offering sweeping views of the city. The surrounding area also functions as a public park where both locals and visitors come to relax, exercise, and enjoy the panoramic scenery. Several cafés and restaurants nearby provide pleasant spots to rest and take in the view.
