Sridonmoon Art Space

Sridonmoon Art Space is a unique cultural tourist destination founded by Sriwan Janehuttakarnkit, a Bangkok-born artist who moved to Chiang Saen to create art dedicated to Buddhism at the Wat Pa Yang Temple on Doi Sa Ngo. Sriwan is a former lecturer from Srinakharinwirot University and holds a Master's degree in Graphic Arts from Silpakorn University.

Sridonmoon Art Space covers an area of approximately 2 rai. It houses a museum that exhibits Sriwan’s works, which are primarily paintings, sculptures, and ceramics. Sriwan’s art reflects the natural scenery, the way of life of the Lanna people, and the teachings of Buddhism. Sridonmoon Art Space also has a decorative garden and an artist's studio for paintings.

Sriwan's intention is for Sridonmoon Art Space to be an accessible art museum, an artist village where artists from all disciplines can live together, a learning center for children and youth, and a tourist destination that generates income for the community. The serene atmosphere of Sridonmoon Art Space makes it a place where people can relax and spend time with art.

Apart from art exhibitions, Sridonmoon Art Space also offers other interesting activities, such as art workshops for children, art exhibitions, and musical performances. It is one of the most interesting art tourist destinations in Chiang Rai.
