Born in Bangkok, 1980. Lives and works in Bangkok.
With her background in landscape architecture and fine art, Sanitas Pradittasnee is interested in sculptural space. After completing a degree in landscape architecture from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Architecture, Sanitas earned a MFA at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and founded Sanitas Studio in 2010, which works in art, art installation, and landscape architecture.
In her creations, the self of ‘architecture’ is reduced, while changing ‘nature’ is highlighted. The works give space to interaction as well as time for observation of the changes constantly happening in nature.
Sanitas’s oeuvre features sculpture, installation, and landscape architecture. She participated in various exhibitions locally and internationally including Bangkok Art Biennale (2018); Heads or Tailsat Sundaram, group exhibition at Tagore gallery, New York (2017); Capturing the Intangible, solo exhibition at the Art Centre, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok (2016); and Khao Mo (Mythical Escapism) at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (2013).
