Movana Chen is a Hong Kong-based artist who lives and works in both Hong Kong and Lisbon. She studied fashion design at London College of Fashion, UK; Fine Art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Hong Kong. Her work is a multidisciplinary fusion of media, performance, installation, and sculpture. Chen’s work is in the collections of the M+ Museum, Hong Kong Heritage Museum and CHAT (Centre of Heritage, Arts and Textile, Hong Kong), Louis Vuitton and private collectors globally. Her work has been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions across the world. In 2020, she had a solo exhibition at the Flowers Gallery and group exhibited as part of Sight Unseen – Forking Paths in the CHAT collection at CHAT, Hong Kong, and in 2022, exhibited at the 31 Women Artist Hong Kong at the 10 Chancery Lane Gallery. Recently in 2023, exhibited at the Closer Together at the RMIT Melbourne, Australia.
